Mission of Hope 2026, Rescue Mission of Utica’s fundraising event, brings our community together for an evening of fellowship, inspiring stories, and generosity.
This year’s event supports the Men’s Emergency Shelter Renovation Project, helping create a safer, more accessible place where men experiencing homelessness can find care, dignity, and hope for a new beginning.
What is the Men’s Emergency Shelter Renovation Project?
For men experiencing homelessness, the Rescue Mission’s shelter offers a safe place to rest and support to begin again. This project will renew the aging building with accessible bathrooms, a new elevator, improved emergency exits and fire protection, exterior repairs, and updated building systems. These improvements will help provide a safer, more welcoming shelter and prepare it for another 50 years of ministry.
